About me
Dogs have been a part of my life for a long time. My father took a Grey Norwegian Elkhound Jessi for hunting when I was three years old. Some years later we got a multibreed dog Armas who has teached me a lot as she lived to be almost fifthteen years old. I got my first own dog, Aussie Sintti, when I was 17 years old. Two years after that came my first Chihuahua Tinka to fill up my "cat's" place. Now we have nine dogs living at home. All of our dogs are primarily pets, beloved members of our family and for me also important friends for hobbies. With my Aussies I have done obedience, agility, herding, tracking and search. With chihuahuas I go to conformation shows and also do agility and obedience.
Most important thing to me in breeding is health and character. When a dog is psysically healthy and good in the thing which it is made to, it can give happiness to its owner for many years. I also want my dogs to look as the breed standard wants them to be, but as I said, most important is health and personality of the dog. In Aussies that means that they must have good working qualities for herding and sports. Chihuahuas as companion dogs should be open, friendly and brave.
